Arunachal Pradesh Tour Details

Guwahati is a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam. It’s known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu. To the east, 18th-century Navagraha Temple is an astronomical center with planetary shrines. Umananda Temple, dedicated to Shiva and covered with engravings, stands on Peacock Island in the river.
Bhalukpung - Bhalukpung is a small town located along the southern reaches of the Himalayas in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh in India. The town is located at 213m above sea level,100 km from Bomdila, 52 km from Tezpur and 5 km from Tipi. It lies along the Kameng river and is the headquarters of Bhalukpung circle. A road leads to Bomdila via the Tipi Orchidariurm, and the inner line check post is located at Bhalukpung.It has a railway station namely Bhalukpong Railway Station, connected to Rangiya Murkongselek rail line at Balipara. It has 3 platforms. One pair of trains runs daily to and from here.

Bomdila -- Bomdila is the headquarters of West Kameng district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. Bomdila is one of the 60 constituencies of the state of Arunachal Pradesh.
Dirang - Dirang is a village in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.[1] West Kameng is the name of the district that contains village Dirang.Dirang is one of the 60 constituencies of Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh.
Tawang- Tawang is a town in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, situated at an elevation of approximately 3,048 metres (10,000 ft), to the east of Bhutan. The town once served as the district headquarters of West Kameng district, and became the district headquarters of Tawang district when it was formed from West Kameng.
Sela pass - The Sela Pass (more appropriately called Se La, as La means Pass) is a high-altitude mountain pass located on the border between the Tawang and West Kameng Districts of Arunachal Pradesh state in India. It has an elevation of 4170 m (13,700 ft) and connects the Indian Buddhist town of Tawang to Dirang and Guwahati. The pass carries the National Highway 13 (previously NH 229), connecting Tawang with the rest of India. The pass supports scarce amounts of vegetation and is usually snow-covered to some extent throughout the year. Sela Lake, near the summit of the pass, is one of approximately 101 lakes in the area that are sacred in Tibetan Buddhism. While Sela Pass does get heavy snowfall in winters, it is usually open throughout the year unless landslides or snow require the pass to be shut down temporarily. 

Kaziranga - Kaziranga National Park is one of the prides of India. Kaziranga is the place where the nature unwinds its pristine form in millions of hues, where wildlife roams fearlessly, where man and nature meets together. This prestigious national park of India is situated in the north eastern part of the country in the district of Golaghat and Nagoan in the state of Assam. Let’s go back to the beginnings of the twentieth century in the year of 1904 when this beautiful wildlife sanctuary was created, and about 68 years later it was declared as National Park.

It is noteworthy to mention that it is the host for two third of world’s population of endangered Indian one-horned rhinoceros and also declared as a tiger reserve in 2006, holding the highest density of tigers in the world. The park is also a domicile for large breeding inhabitants of Elephants, wild water buffaloes and Swamp Deer. It has been declared as a forest reserve in the year of 1908 and wildlife sanctuary in the year of 1950. Covering an approximate area of 430 square kilometers, Kaziranga was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment in the year of 1985. Apart from this, the park has been identified as an important bird area by Birdlife International Society as it is a home to various species of migrating and inhabitant birds. Situated on the banks of river Brahmaputra, the sanctuary is blessed with the four different kinds of vegetation. The Tropical moist mixed deciduous forests and tropical semi-evergreen forests is marked by the 41% of the tall grasses, 29% open jungle, 11% short grasses and rest is covered with the rivers and the water bodies. Its breathtaking array of flora and diverse fauna adds value to the scenic beauty of the park.Kaziranga National Park is solitary among the foremost National Parks on the earth and also famous as the wonderful wildlife destination of the North East India. Situated in the intense geographical location, the park presents a massive range of natural beauty. Surrounded by Brahmaputra River on the North and the Karbi Anglong mounts in the South, the park offers a splendid scenic sight. The beautiful geographical vicinity of the park makes it heaven for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. The title Kaziranga adopts its name to Karbi, which is the name of a woman who ruled here in ancient time. It is the only ancient park in Assam which wraps a vast region of numerous flora and fauna.
